Acts: What a Doctor Found When He Examined Christ’s Body

Alger Fitch

Welcome to the study of the Acts of the Apostles—a work inspired by God that continues to inspire all readers who examine it seriously. This first-century text—which received its title in the second century—remains relevant to the twenty-first century. It was Irenaeus, in his *Against Heresies* (3.1.1 and 3.14.1), who gave this scroll—the work of Luke—the title “Acts of the Apostles.”
