Faith, Science, and Worldviews Clash
Sergey Golovin
It’s unlikely that there’s anyone today who has never heard of the irreconcilable conflict between science and faith in God. It’s common knowledge!
Everyone knows it. But is it true? That’s the question. Consensus among human opinions by no means guarantees their correctness. No matter how many incantations are used to preface the “as is universally known” argument—whether it’s “Even a baby knows…”; “Even a fool can see…” and so on—many “commonly known” and “fool-clear” pieces of information, upon closer inspection, turn out to be less than impeccable in terms of their correspondence to the truth.
