Talking about the Lord Jesus Christ, the only intercessor and mediator between God and humanity, is one of the encouraging and comforting topics that strengthens the soul and gives it hope. When a sinful, fallen, and weak person realizes their state as a human being separated from God because of their many sins and their need for reconciliation with God, and when they realize that the faithful reconciler is the Lord Jesus Christ, this gives them encouragement to approach the great, almighty, and powerful God, the Judge, and to draw near to Him and maintain continuous communion with Him.
Although discussing Christ’s intercession is a soul-nourishing and encouraging topic, Satan is keen to divert our attention from the heart and essence of intercession, which is Christ, to engaging in foolish arguments about other intercessors and their supposed right to perform this intercession alongside Christ. This destructive dialogue and debate ends with the absence of the original truth presented to us in the Bible and the establishment of erroneous sectarian concepts in our minds, in addition to conflict, division, and discord. Thus, Satan succeeds in his scheme because God’s children do not know and study His word sufficiently.

الحديث عن الرب يسوع المسيح الشفيع والوسيط الوحيد بين
الله والناس من الأحاديث المشجعة والمعزية التى تمنح النفس قوة
ورجاء. وحينما يدرك الإنسان الخاطىء الساقط الضعيف حالته
كإنسان منفصل عن الله بسبب خطاياه الكثيرة وحاجته للتصالح
مع الله، وعندما يدرك أن المصالح الأمين هو الرب يسوع المسيح
فإن هذا يمنحه تشجعاً للاقتراب من الله العظيم القدير الجبار
الديان والاقتراب منه والاتصال المستمر به .
وبالرغم من أن الحديث عن شفاعة المسيح من الأحاديث
المشبعة والمشجعة للنفس إلا أن ابليس يحرص على تحويل
أنظارنا من قلب الشفاعة وجوهرها المسيح، إلى الدخول فى
مجادلات غبية عن شفعاء آخرين وأسباب أحقيتهم للقيام بهذه
الشفاعة مع المسيح ، وينتهى الحوار والجدل الهدام بغياب
الحقيقة الأصلية التى قدمها الكتاب لنا واستقرار مفاهيم طائفية
خاطئة فى أذهاننا ، هذا عدا الصراع والفرقة والانقسام ، وبهذا
ينجح ابليس فى تدبيره بسبب عدم معرفة أبناء الله كلمته
ودراستها بالقدر الكافى .
