The Prophets
(A historical, chronological, and practical study of the lives and messages of the prophets described in the Bible)

Mrs. Indu Lall

Mrs. Indu Lal was born in the village of Baitalpur, in the Bilaspur district, into the family of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Henry. Drawing strength and direction from the example and inspiration of her parents—who were dedicated to Christian ministry—she, too, dedicated her life to the service of the Lord Jesus. She is the wife of Dr. Ajay Lal, the principal founder of the Central India Christian Mission. She has three children: Abhinita, Abhilasha, and Abhijit.

Mrs. Indu Lal serves as the Incharge of the Child Development Program administered by the Central India Christian Mission. Under this initiative, support is provided for the educational, economic, and spiritual development of approximately 1,200 children. She works tirelessly and continuously for the holistic development of these children. A key dimension of her ministry involves preparing Christian literature for the growth of Sunday School programs, as well as organizing and enhancing these programs to make them engaging and effective.

She has played a pivotal role in both the establishment and the subsequent growth of the Central India Christian Mission. She has delivered messages in special sessions at various events, including the National Missionary Convention (USA), the North American Christian Convention, and numerous other missionary and women’s conferences. Through her writing and teaching, she remains steadfast in her efforts to guide both children and families to walk in accordance with the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is also a regular contributor to *Christian Witness* magazine. Following her previous works—*Forty Parables of Jesus Christ* and *The Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ*—this marks the third book authored by Mrs. Indu Lal.
