مقدمة لازمة

نحن نعيش الزمن الذي ازدادت فيه
المعرفة (د٤:١٢١) وأصبح تناقل المعلومات من
أقصى الأرض إلى أقصاها صوتاً وصورة لا
يحتاج إلا إلى ثوان قليلة أو أقل من الثانية. غير
أنه من الواضح أنه فی الوقت الذی ازدادت
فيه معرفتنا وثقافتنا زيادة هائلة فى جوانب
متعددة متنوعة فى الحياة الجسدية، إلا أن
ثقافتنا ومعلوماتنا عن الأمور الروحية وما يتعلق
بالحیاة الأبدیة قد قلّت وتناقصت بشکل واضح
وخطیر حتی أن عدداً لا یستهان به من غیر
المؤمنین والمؤمنين – للأسف الشديد – أصبح
یعیش ویسیر في الضلال (٢ بط ١٨,١٠,٩:٢)، مما
دعا الرب أن يحذر بشدة الصدوقين قائلاً
“تضلون إذ لا تعرفون الكتب ولإ قوة الله”
(متى٣٠:٢٢).

Necessary Introduction

We live in a time when knowledge has increased (Daniel 12:4), and the transmission of information from one end of the earth to the other, in both sound and image, takes only a few seconds or even less than a second. However, it is clear that while our knowledge and understanding have increased tremendously in many diverse aspects of physical life, our knowledge and understanding of spiritual matters and eternal life have decreased significantly and dangerously. As a result, a considerable number of both unbelievers and believers—sadly—are living and walking in error (2 Peter 2:9-10, 18), which prompted the Lord to strongly warn the Sadducees, saying, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matthew 22:30).
