युवा प्रत्येक कलीसिया के बहुत प्रमुख अंग होते हैं। इनके ऊपर ही कलीसिया का भविष्य निर्भर करता है। अतः बहुत आवश्यक होता है कि ये अपनी जवानी के दिनों में अपने तारणहार परमेश्वर को पहचानें। उस जीवित परमेश्वर से उनका मज़बूत, अन्तरंग, आत्मीय व्यक्तिगत सम्बन्ध हो। वे यह जानें कि उसमें बने रहने से ही उनकी संसार के पाप-बुराई से सुरक्षा सम्भव है। उसमें ही बने रहकर इस संसार में उनके जीवन सार्थक, सफल व उपयोगी बन सकते हैं। उसमें ही इस संसार के पार स्वर्ग में उनका अनन्त जीवन सुनिश्चित होता है। उसके वचन के द्वारा ही युवा अपने जीवन से जुड़े हुए महत्वपूर्व प्रश्नों के सही व सन्तोषजनक उत्तर प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। वास्तव में वे वचन के द्वारा ही स्वयं को पहचान सकते हैं, अपनी बहुमूल्यता समझ सकते हैं। इस वचन के सत्य के द्वारा ही वे स्वयं को संसार में व्याप्त शैतान के झूठों, सांसारिक प्रलोभनों, आडम्बरों, तेज़ी से बदलते हुए मूल्यों-मापदण्डों, सामाजिक कुरीतियों, बेबुनियादी परम्पराओं व रीति-रिवाजों से बचा सकते हैं। वे वचन के द्वारा स्पष्ट रूप से जान सकते हैं कि कोई बात सहीं है तो क्यों सही है? गलत है तो क्यों गलत है? वे किस प्रकार उन गलत बातों से स्वयं को बचाएं? यदि हम व्यभिचार, पोर्नोग्राफी, नशे, क्रोध, झूठ व अन्य किसी भी दुर्व्यसन की बेड़ियों में जकड़े हुए हैं तो इन सब बेड़ियों से हम कैसे मुक्त हों? कैसे हम परमेश्वर के सशक्त, निर्भीक व प्रभावशाली गवाह, फलदायी, विश्वासयोग्य व कर्मठ दास/दासी, योग्य प्रतिनिधि बन सकते हैं?
युवाओं के लिए आवश्यक होता है कि वे अपने अन्र्त्तद्वन्द्व को बेझिझक खुलकर अपने समूह व अपने शिक्षक के साथ बांट सकें। इसके लिए उन्हें इस बात की निश्चितता होना चाहिए कि हर कोई किसी न किसी समस्या अथवा परीक्षा से होकर गुज़रता है अतः कोई उन्हें नींचा नहीं देखेगा, अस्वीकार नहीं करेगा, न ही उनका तिरस्कार करेगा। साथ ही उन्हें इस बात की भी निश्चितता होना चाहिए कि उन्हें शिक्षक द्वारा बाइबिल सम्मत सही व सटीक शिक्षा दी जाएगी। प्रभु यीशु मसीह में हमेशा ही प्रेम, दया, क्षमा और आशा है। उसके साथ कुछ भी असम्भव नहीं है।
युवा अपने दैनिक व्यवहारिक जीवन से जुड़े हुए विषयों के बारे में जानने, उन विषयों पर मिलकर चर्चा करने व उनके समाधान तक पहुंचने में विशेष रुचि रखते हैं। इन सब बातों का ध्यान रखकर ही यह पाठ्यक्रम तैयार किया गया है।

The youth are a very important part of every church. The future of the church depends on them; therefore, it is very important that they acknowledge their Savior. They should have a strong, intimate, personal relationship with that living God. They should know that only by remaining in Him is it possible to protect them from the sins and evils of the world. Only by remaining in Him can their lives in this world become meaningful, blessed, and useful. Only in Him is their eternal life in heaven after this world assured. Only through His Word can the youth get the right answers to important questions related to their lives. In fact, only through the Word can they recognize themselves, understanding their preciousness. Only through the truth of this Word can they save themselves from the lies of Satan, worldly temptations, pretensions, rapidly changing values and standards, social evils, baseless traditions and customs prevalent in the world. They can clearly know through the Word that if something is right, then why is it right? If it is wrong, then why is it wrong? How can they save themselves from those wrong things? If we are bound in the shackles of adultery, pornography, intoxication, anger, lying and any other vices, then how can we be free from all these shackles? How can we become strong, fearless and effective witnesses of God, fruitful, faithful and diligent servants, worthy representatives?
It is important for young people to be able to share their inner conflicts openly with their group and their teacher. For this, they must be sure that everyone goes through some problem or test and hence no one will look down upon them, reject them or despise them. Also, they must be sure that they will be given correct and accurate teaching according to the Bible by the teacher. There is always love, mercy, forgiveness and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible with Him.
The youth are particularly interested in learning about topics related to their daily practical life, discussing those topics together and reaching their solutions. This course has been prepared keeping all these things in mind.
You can use this Bible-based curriculum not only in Sunday School but also in family devotions and discussions, CYF, youth conventions, various Bible studies and sermons. It is hoped that this curriculum will help young people to dedicate their lives completely to God.
